About the Role:
Kiddie Academy of Columbia, SC is looking for a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our academy! In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating a positive first impression for families and supporting our dedicated team of early childhood educators. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly
• Manage front desk operations including sign-in/sign-out procedures for families
• Assist with scheduling tours and following up with prospective families
• Coordinate with teachers and leadership to relay messages and updates
• Uphold Kiddie Academy’s standards for confidentiality, safety, and customer service
• Ensure the front office and reception area remain organized and presentable

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor, especially around children and families
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, child-centered environment
