Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – PAML – Labcorp – Redmond, WA Work Schedule Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday’s as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience. 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy that requirement. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay Range $24.80 – $27.41 per hour.
