Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift and overtime as needed is requiredLocation: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This position is located at the South Plant.Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + 5% bonusAs a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:Provide daily leadership to the departmentWork on setting daily crewing assignments and resolving crewing issuesFocus on safety through behavior based observations and actionsMonitor quality through the shiftSet clear performance expectations and the beginning and through the duration of the shiftConduct process checks every 2 hours at each line of responsibilityAssist the crews on maximizing efficiency and productivity through the shiftProvide trouble shooting and decision making skills to assist operators and crews to overcome performance inhibitorsWork with department Manager to identify opportunities to maximize efficiency and productivityParticipate in Continuous Improvement related projectsQualifications:5 + years of demonstrated leadership experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environmentContinuous Improvement experienceEffective communication, coaching and interpersonal skills requiredDemonstrated ability to work closely with customers and crews to effectively build relationshipsParticipate in resolving issues, ensure satisfaction and work across boundaries with a holistic approachDemonstrate analytical and problem solving skillsFlexible, proactive, self-starter with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.What we offer you:Paid time offMedical, dental, and vision benefits401k with company matchCareer growth opportunitiesEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee appreciation & recognition programsAbout Us:Lakeside Book Company loves books!
