Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in San Antonio. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a specialized ICU unit in a healthcare facility with a focus on critical care. The assignment is scheduled to last from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027, with a shift that runs for 12 hours during the day.

Job Details:

• Location: San Antonio
• Unit: Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU - 7C)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (day or night shifts, schedule specified as days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid active Texas Registered Nurse license, minimum of 2 years ICU experience, ACLS certification, BLS certification, NIH Stroke Certification, minimum education requirement of RN degree or diploma, no mention of additional location or experience requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical ICU (MICU) and MSICU, Proficiency with Meditech charting and order entry, advanced certifications preferred.
• Float Policy: All travelers are required to float; candidates must be aware of the Methodist floating policy and be prepared to float within the unit as needed.
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Unit Specifics: Badging in and out for each shift, punctuality required (clock-in at 6:38 AM/PM, late after 6:45).
• Dress Code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket; neat and clean hair, body art covered, minimal visible piercings, professional appearance.
