Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist travel position in Hilo, Hawaii. This 15-week assignment starts on 08/24/2026 and is offered as travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Weekly pay ranges from $1,867 to $1,999, with no guaranteed hours. Shift is Night, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours). The role is in a hospital-level setting. Pre-employment requirements include Hawaii licensure by start, proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical/religious exemption, and completion of employee health clearance. Arrive the Thursday before the start date to participate in the health clearance process.

Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management and ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
- Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients; adjust ventilator settings per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and the respiratory care team; participate in CPR and all aspects of respiratory care
- Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators (e.g., V60, ParaPac transport), PB 980, PB 840, as well as computerized charting and Pyxis medication management
- Document patient care and communicate patient status clearly to the multidisciplinary team

Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License (must be active by start date)
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required; RRT preferred; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required prior to contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance
