Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant-Direct Hire

Location: Noblesville, Indiana

Compensations- $85k-$100k

Responsibilities:

• Prepare machine project cost reports to identify variances and provide actionable insights on budgeting and operational performance
• Deliver enhanced financial and operational reporting to management
• Develop and maintain KPI reports and dashboards in collaboration with the controller and leadership team
• Analyze project-level job costing on an individual basis (non-manufacturing line-based costing)
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial data accuracy

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience in costing, managerial accounting, data analysis, or FP&A
• Strong background in data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools
• Experience with SAP or comparable large ERP systems is required
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data manipulation
• Microsoft Access experience preferred
• Experience with project/job costing at an individual project level (not production-line manufacturing costing)
