Machine Operator I – Steel Fabrication

We are hiring a Machine Operator (Level 1) to join our growing team in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dependable, mechanically inclined, and ready to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

No advanced experience required—just a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with steel fabrication, welding prep, and production tasks
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop
• Perform basic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Read and take measurements using tape measures, angle finders, and micrometers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial work (preferred)
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read measurements, decimals, and perform basic math
• Experience using precision measuring tools (required)
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus
• Basic computer or 10-key skills are a plus
• Strong reliability and consistent attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
• Work in an industrial environment (heat, noise, dust, moving equipment)
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and shop equipment
