Contract | Night Shift (3x12) | 19:00–07:30 | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department serving all age ranges from infant to geriatric populations
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 47-bed ED with an average daily census of 130
• Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a broad acuity spectrum in a non-trauma center environment
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend, holidays as scheduled, and floating within the specialty

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – must hold a valid Maryland or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association only
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification – Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience preferred; candidates with less than 2 years but a strong clinical skillset will be considered
• First-time travelers welcome to apply
