Our busy auto parts center is looking for a savvy automotive parts manager to join our growing team of service department employees. You’ll handle everything from interfacing with service technicians to managing our extensive inventory of automotive parts. We’ll rely on you to secure the best prices while stocking inventory and striking a balance between supply and demand. $60,000

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate promotional offers to help drive automotive parts sales
• Employ strong negotiation and communication skills to secure the most competitive price for replacement parts that can yield a profitable ROI when used for repairs or retail sales
• Maintain reasonable inventory levels for quick access by those completing auto repairs or selling auto parts by balancing projected demand and cost targets
• Proactively order necessary high-quality, cost-effective parts that align with standards set forth by the auto parts department and dealership, as a whole
• Help hire and supervise relevant employees within the automotive parts and service departments

Qualifications:

• Management experience is a plus
• 1-2 years of related experience in auto sales needed
• Excellent product knowledge, customer service skills, administrative skills, and organizational skills are necessary to manage inventory effectively
• Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent
