Product Development Assistant
Our client, a wholesale apparel manufacturing brand, is seeking a Product Development Assistant to join their team in New York!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support head designer and cross-functional teams from concept through production.
- Manage and maintain tech packs, line sheets, samples, and development tracking systems.
- Coordinate with domestic and overseas vendors on sampling, production timelines, and approvals.
- Assist with costing, SKU setup, product specifications, and overall data accuracy.
- Support fittings by documenting comments, updates, and revisions.
- Conduct market research and assist with trend and competitive analysis.
- Partner with teams to support seasonal initiatives and ensure timely product execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 1–2+ years of experience
- Experience in off-price, fast fashion, or value retail environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear communication and strong follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and PLM systems
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
