Job Title: Clinical Analyst
Duration of project: 6 months Location: Dallas, TX Remote (Central Time Zone) Mail : View email address on click.appcast.io Required Skills:• Experience with healthcare/clinical terminologies and code-sets, including SNOMED CT™, LOINC, ICD9-10, CPT4/HCPCS, RxNorm, CVX, and other code systems.
• Working knowledge of relational databases/database structures; SQL experience desired.
• Understanding of data collected and used in electronic medical records, and experience navigating EMRs.
• Knowledge and experience with ambulatory and acute clinical workflows and clinical information systems.
• Experience with detailed policies and related data/exchange standards, including the ONC Interoperability Advisory Standard, U.S. Core Data for Interoperability initiative, and ONC Certification Rules.
• Experience with using/implementing HL7 standards and processes, including Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR).
• Experience with lab information systems (LIS) and implementing, testing, upgrading, and standard integrations between lab systems and EMRs.
• Specific experience with PathNet, including high competency in PathNet GenLab and some experience in other lab areas such as PathNet Micro, PathNet AP, and PathNet Blood Bank.
• Additional skills with Epic Beaker, Meditech Labs, Sunquest Labs, or Soft lab systems are desirable. Qualifications:
• Degree in healthcare, clinical informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience.
