Receiving Clerk (Warehouse) Pay: $20.00/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Location: Kansas City, MO 64161 Breaks: 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks Overtime: Possible Saturdays as needed About the Role (Receiving Clerk) We’re hiring Receiving Clerks to support a growing warehouse operation. This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced receiving environment where many similar items must be received accurately for multiple clients. You’ll be responsible for processing incoming product quickly and correctly—typically 85–100 boxes within a 24-hour period , shared across a small receiving team (2–3 people). What You’ll Do (Receiving Clerk) Receive incoming shipments and verify counts and product accuracy Process receipts in a Warehouse Management System (WMS) (VeraCore experience is a strong plus) Label, document, and update inventory records using Excel and computer systems Identify discrepancies, track variances, and elevate issues when needed Maintain an organized receiving area and follow warehouse procedures Work closely with the team to meet daily receiving timelines and client requirements What We’re Looking For (Receiving Clerk) Prior receiving experience with a solid, consistent work background WMS experience (Veracore preferred) Excel skills and general comfort with computers/warehouse systems Strong attention to detail—able to distinguish similar products for different clients Accurate counting skills and good documentation habits A logical, problem-solving mindset (able to work through mismatches and exceptions) Forklift experience is a plus, but not required Why This Opportunity (Receiving Clerk) Growing company with strong momentum, expanding operations from California Moving into a larger facility (growth and stability) Strong opportunity for internal promotion to a lead/supervisor Benefits package includes: Medical / Dental / Vision 401(k) PTO: 2 weeks per year 5 paid holidays #INDCOMMKC and #ZR #J-18808-Ljbffr
