Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA must be obtained within the first year and maintained throughout employment.
• Active State of Alaska license in Speech-Language Pathology is required to start the position.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience providing pediatric SLP services in inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment across pediatric populations preferred.
• Ability to document in hospital and home health formats and knowledge of billing procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers preferred.
• Capacity to travel occasionally to remote locations by boat or small plane for multi-day assignments in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and to work in small spaces and at a demanding pace.
