We are seeking a dedicated Rail Car Technician to join our team in Rochester, MA. This position involves assisting in the repair and restoration of rail car toilets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills and be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving toilet issues, ensuring they function correctly. Additionally, the role involves cleaning the systems and performing general labor activities, including carrying, lifting, and moving equipment up to 60 lbs. Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot rail car toilets to identify issues.
• Repair and restore toilets to ensure proper functionality.
• Clean and maintain toilet systems.
• Perform general labor tasks such as carrying, lifting, and moving equipment up to 60 lbs.

Essential Skills:

• Electrical troubleshooting
• Mechanical repair
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• 1-2 years of mechanical experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Preferred restoration experience
• Reliable transportation
• Skilled mechanical aptitudes

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
