Job Description

Join SMK Logistics – Delivering Packages and Smiles!

SMK Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) based in California. We’re currently hiring Delivery Helper to support our drivers during deliveries. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-focused individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a team.

Position Highlights:

Anticipated schedule: part-time 3 days per week, 8-10 hours per day including at least one weekend day
Extra shifts may be available, but not guaranteed
Opportunity for full-time permanent employment : Employee may be considered for long-term roles based on performance and business needs (review required)

What You’ll Do:

Assist drivers with delivering 400 - 600 packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses
Load and unload packages from delivery vans
Repeatedly load and unload packages up to 50 lbs
Often tilt, push, and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck with team assistance
Ride along with drivers and support efficient route completion
Work in all weather conditions: rain, heat, cold, etc.
Maintain high standards for attendance, performance, and safety
Support teammates as needed during daily operations
Communicate effectively with drivers and support team to provide excellent customer service

Before your first shift, you’ll complete Amazon training and onboarding with our team.

Qualifications

What You Need:

Be at least 18 years old
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and successfully complete training
Prior warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
