Details Work in the Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab of a teaching hospital Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring Administer and monitor procedural sedation and interpret/manage dysrhythmias Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) On-call responsibilities required Floating required to all 3 hospital campuses within a 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, and Tradition) Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration, no pending licenses accepted Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience required, preferably within the last 3 years Epic charting experience required One professional reference from a direct supervisor, ANM, or director in the Cath Lab specialty required for consideration Additional Information Facility is a smoke-free environment requiring all travelers to be nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only EKG and pharmacology tests required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each and no remediation for retesting Time-sensitive training modules must be prioritized and completed promptly once the assignment is confirmed Scrub color is Ceil Blue Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis (every other holiday) All requested time off must be submitted and discussed at time of interview, with no additions accepted after submission First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at the same rate Previous permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their last end date American Traveler Job ID P-750441.
