As a CT/PET Technologist on this 13-week travel assignment, youll gain firsthand exposure to diverse imaging protocols and hospital processes, enriching your professional repertoire. Working in a trauma environment provides valuable experience with fast-paced imaging cases, advanced GE 64 Slice equipment, and the Meditech documentation system. This is a remarkable opportunity to broaden your clinical skills, collaborate with new teams, and bolster your resume with sought-after trauma experience.

Schedule/Hours:

• Nights: 6:00pm 6:00am
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every weekend required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience, including trauma imaging
• ARRT (CT) Certification (REQUIRED)
• Texas Radiologic Technologist License (REQUIRED)
• BLS Certification
• Experience conducting ER CT-Trauma, CTA, and Stroke exams
• Skilled with GE 64 Slice CT technology
• Proficiency with Meditech or similar documentation systems
• Willingness to float as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET scans in a trauma-focused Emergency Department
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate, timely imaging
• Adhere to safety protocols and patient care standards
• Accurately document procedures and maintain equipment
• Flexibility in adapting to changing workflow and floating to other units as required
