This registered nurse position plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns. Unit Information Unit: Labor and Delivery Number of Beds: 16 Staffing: 120 staff members Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Phillips electronic fetal monitoring EMR: Cerner, Fetal ink Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience Experience in high-risk scenarios Proficient in immediate newborn care Preferred Skills Circulating experience Procedures Performed Vaginal Deliveries Cesarean Sections D&C Cerclage C-Hyst Personality Fit Outgoing Friendly Adaptable Required Certifications NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) BLS/ALS (Basic Life Support/Advanced Life Support) Advanced Fetal Monitoring Work Schedule Weekends are not required but may be available upon approval.
