Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit that provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients. The role involves managing a high-volume patient population with diverse surgical and medical cases, including orthopedic, total joint, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Work as a Charge RN and float to other campuses as needed
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including passing the required EKG exam

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN clinical experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Valid RN license in state of practice with current and active status
• BLS certification required; EPIC experience necessary
• Charge RN experience is mandatory
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend
