Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting K–12 students across multiple sites. This full-time, on-site contract-to-hire role begins late November, with the exact start date to be confirmed soon. Your expertise will be vital in working alongside special education teams throughout district locations, helping foster meaningful progress for students.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Washington State COTA license and current NBCOT certification required
  • Experience in school-based or special education settings preferred
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple school buildings
  • Commitment to full-time hours (35 hours/week, 7 hours/day)
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse needs by implementing occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Travel between various school locations as assigned within the district
  • Assist with the development and documentation of student treatment plans, goals, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of different school settings and caseloads
