CAD Operator//Programmer

About the Role:

We are seeking a CAD Operator/Programmer to join our team at Delta Steel: Houston. As a key player in our Processing department, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify CAD drawings and models for structural steel components


• Program CNC machinery for steel fabrication


• Collaborate with CNC machine operators and sales team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects


• Perform quality checks on drawings and parts to meet industry standards


• Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software such as Sigmanest, Pronest, Vacam, Solid Works 


• Understanding of dwg, dxf, and pdf shop drawings


• Experience in CNC programming and operation


• Knowledge of structural steel and fabrication processes


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• 2-5 years of experience
