Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Aiken, South Carolina. This position involves providing critical care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. The role requires proficiency in utilizing various advanced technology and delivering high-level patient care in a multidisciplinary environment. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of ICU acute care experience. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification with advanced physical skills training course. Cerner experience. Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Additional Information: The ICU team cares for patients with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions. Utilizes various advanced technology including ventilators, cardiac monitors, PICC lines, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, CRRT, and intravenous infusion pumps. Responsibilities include fulfilling patient, family, and community needs by performing diverse patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards.
