2027 Summer Intern, MS

Responsibilities

• Design and implement metrics, test plans, and simulated scenarios for autonomous-vehicle behavior testing in off-nominal situations.
• Create dashboards to monitor, visualize, and analyze fleet-wide autonomous-vehicle fault rates on public roads.
• Support verification and validation of Fault Protection and Remote Assistance behaviors.
• Build automated Python and SQL pipelines to update, version, and validate test coverage across safety-critical driving scenarios.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a master's program in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Have experience with data analysis or modeling using Python and SQL.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for understanding complex systems and their components.
• Familiarity with autonomous-vehicle technology and systems-engineering principles is preferred.
• Comfort with ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
