X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)

Location: Milwaukie, OR 97222
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 10:00 PM–8:30 AM
Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 3x10 Hours | 30 Hours/Week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
On-Call: No
Floating: No
Weekends: Required

Pay Range: $50 to 57/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (R) certification — Required
• Oregon Radiologic Technologist license, if applicable
• BLS certification — Required
• Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray experience — Preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment safely
• Strong patient positioning and image-quality skills
• Epic documentation experience — Preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-Ray examinations
• Position patients appropriately and operate radiographic equipment safely
• Verify patient identity and follow radiation-safety protocols
• Evaluate image quality and submit completed studies to PACS
• Document procedures accurately using Epic
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment
• Provide professional and patient-centered care
• Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and safety standards
