Job Description This on‑site HR Manager role is based at our Logan, UT location. The incumbent provides Human Resources leadership to the assigned management team and employees, aligning HR objectives with business strategy through effective employee relations, compensation, staffing, training, organizational development, safety, and change management initiatives. Develop and facilitate strategic short‑ and long‑term goals with management, covering recruiting, staffing plans, promotions, training, succession planning, and positive counseling, while impacting profitability. Facilitate positive employee relations, plant‑wide communications, and internal management consultation. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Support and promote the company’s Open Door Policy. Administer policies, procedures, regulations, and contracts. Manage the requirements and functions of the affirmative action plan for the site. Oversee local workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and training programs following company and legal guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of relevant Human Resources experience. At least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in HR. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Mac, or similar technical tools. Strong leadership and mentorship skills for team members and local supervisors/managers. Deep knowledge of all HR functions, including compensation, staffing, employee involvement, EEO/AAP safety training, and policy development. Current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting HR. Effective counseling skills for performance and behavioral issues, conflict resolution, and career development. Excellent communication across all employee levels, with a track record of collaborative problem solving. Ability to represent the department at meetings and serve on committees, projects, and other organizational forums. Compensation & Benefits RRD’s current salary range for this role is $81,600 to $130,500 per year, potentially adjusted for geographic location and other factors. In addition to base salary, the package may include bonus, commission, or incentive program participation. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, and employer/partner discounts. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
