Registered Nurse - PICU

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse

Provide specialized critical care nursing services to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Ensure optimal patient outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status to detect potential complications early.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate families about patient conditions and post-discharge care.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations to stabilize patients.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PICU or pediatric critical care experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Supportive, collaborative, and compassionate personality.
