Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Administering medications and managing IV lines
• Tracking patient ventilator status and making adjustments as necessary
• Performing procedures such as IV starts, catheterizations, and lumbar puncture preparations
• Monitoring hemodynamic status and maintaining accurate records
• Providing trach care and managing tube feedings and placements
• Monitoring intracranial pressure (ICP) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Active RN license
• Current PALS certification
• Minimum 1-year experience in PICU
