The Role

We are seeking a warm, professional, and customer-focused Concierge / Front Desk Receptionist (PRN) to join our Healthcare Center team.

As the first point of contact at our Healthcare Center front desk, you are the face and voice of Bethea. You will greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls, assist residents and family members with questions, and maintain a secure, organized lobby area. Key Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome & Screening: Greet all visitors, family members, staff, and medical personnel as they enter the Healthcare Center, ensuring proper check-in and screening procedures are followed.

• PBX / Phone Operations: Answer multi-line incoming phone calls warmly and professionally; direct calls to the appropriate departments, nurses' stations, or resident rooms efficiently.

• Resident & Visitor Hospitality: Serve as a helpful resource for resident requests, visitor inquiries, delivery drop-offs, and general facility information.

• Administrative & Secretarial Support: Assist facility administrative teams with light clerical tasks (sorting mail, filing, updating directories, scheduling, typing basic correspondence).

• Lobby & Entrance Upkeep: Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain clean, welcoming, organized, and secure at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of receptionist, concierge, customer service, or administrative experience. Previous experience in a healthcare facility, medical office, or senior living community is a huge plus!

• Communication: Warm, pleasant phone personality with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office/Outlook), multi-line phone systems, and office equipment (copiers/scanners).

• The Heart: High level of empathy, patience, professionalism, and a genuine enjoyment of working around senior residents and their families.

• Flexibility: Ability to cover PRN shifts as needed (including coverage for weekends, holidays, or staff vacation call-offs).
