Medical Office Receptionist

Job Summary Podiatry & Sports Medicine Associates is seeking a motivated, friendly Receptionist with strong customer service skills to join our healthcare team. As a valued member of our practice, you will work alongside providers and medical staff, supporting both administrative and clinical operations while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Administrative Duties Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays and outstanding balances Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring proper documentation and compliance Assist with billing, faxing, scanning, and other administrative tasks Coordinate patient flow and notify clinical staff of patient arrivals Qualifications At least 1 year of customer service experience (preferred) Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Job Details Position: Part-Time Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to close, plus alternating Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Work Location: In person Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience We offer a supportive, team-oriented environment where your contributions make a direct impact on patient care.
