POSITION OVERVIEW

We are one of the largest franchisees of ARCO AM/PM convenience store gas stations in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are hiring for a swing/graveyard shift Cashier for a part‑time position. We are looking for a team player who can work well with others, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and deliver excellent customer service in a retail setting. At least 1 year of cashier, retail, or sales associate work experience is required. Prior experience in a stocker or merchandiser role is also a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service. Perform cashiering duties and maintain an accurate register count. Merchandise store shelves and displays. Upsell and promote merchandise. Implement company policies and goals. Perform food preparation, cleaning, and stocking of cooler. Perform all regular cleaning activities and other tasks included in job assignments. Receive, unpack, and place sales floor merchandise. Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 21 years of age or older, as required by Nevada law for the sale and service of alcohol and tobacco products. At least 1 year of experience in cash handling required. At least 1 year of experience in customer service required. Must have open availability. Must be able to obtain a TAM Card, Health Card, and Sheriff Card (or obtain within timeframe established by company policy). Dependable, trustworthy, and dedicated. Must be able to communicate effectively in English as required to perform essential job functions, including interacting with coworkers, customers, suppliers/vendors, or other legitimate business needs that must be communicated in English. This position is subject to pre‑employment drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check conducted in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable laws.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift. Ability to move in and out of cooler and freezer areas. Ability to operate a cash register. Ability to bend, stoop, and squat repetitively.
