Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage and monitor ventilated patients and tracheostomy care — required skill set for this role
• Document patient assessments and care using Meditech charting system
• Float to Med/Surg unit as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• ACLS , BCLS , and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience required
• Demonstrated experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management — mandatory; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; post-submission RTO requests may not be accommodated
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Flexibility with scheduling, including every-other-weekend availability
