Project Accountant

Responsibilities include: Processing invoices for assigned department managers Creating projects in our accounting software, including billing terms and project budgets Investigating client payments and outstanding invoice inquiries Assisting with research and resolution of client questions Running standard reports Working closely with project managers and department managers to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting, and project billing Compiling and updating finance processes and procedures Some travel may be required. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field --OR-- An associate degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field and two (2) years of relevant invoicing or billing experience --OR-- If no degree, at least four (4) years of relevant invoicing or billing experience The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Experience with computerized financial accounting systems Knowledge of overall financial management Knowledge of engineering and architectural services Knowledge of Deltek Vision or Dynamics Knowledge of professional accounting practices Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program. Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 hourly – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.
