We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about pediatric dentistry and helping young patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and examinations. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for use. Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming environment for children and their families. Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and dental care practices. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance processing. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Support the dental team in creating a fun and friendly atmosphere for young patients. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. Experience in pediatric dentistry or a similar dental setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to rotate between Leesburg and Ashburn office is required. Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Current X-ray, BLS/CPR certifications are required. Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
