Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg NeuroThe Registered Nurse (RN) will provide essential nursing care in a Medical Surgical Neuro environment. This role involves comprehensive assessments, documentation, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.Shift Information12-hour shifts36 hours per week3 shifts per week on straight weekends (Flexible)Every other weekend and every other holidayShifts may alternate between day and night based on unit needsUnit InformationThis is a 32-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shifts and 6:1 on night shifts. The RN will primarily work on the Med Surg Neuro unit, with the expectation to float to other medical-surgical units as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)1 year of travel nursing experience with successful completionExperience in a Level 1 trauma settingActive RN license in North Dakota or a Compact State (willingness to obtain if necessary)Current BLS certification (AHA)NIHSS certificationExperience with EPIC EMRStrong Medical Surgical experience, Neuro patients experience preferred but not requiredResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities for this position include:Performing comprehensive assessments and documentationExecuting nursing tasks and medications administrationCollaboration with healthcare professionals across multiple unitsAdditional InformationAll clinicians are required to badge in and out of the facility. Scrub color: Navy Blue. The role requires a willingness to float to all units and locations as needed based on job requests.
