The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Storekeeper 2 to join our team!This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. schedule and opportunity for advancement, growth, and development. As a Storekeeper 2,you'llplay a pivotal role in our Nutrition and Supply Services Department. WhatYou’llDo As part of the WRC team,you'llplay a crucial role in our mission by working in our Supply Depot to receive, store, and issue facility supplies and material including perishable items.Key Responsibilities Include: Assemble and deliver orders, including frozen and non-frozen perishable items, for internal customers. Receive and stock goods, including frozen and non-frozen perishable items, ensure products are in good condition, and follow procedures if damaged products are received. Store goods in designated areasutilizinga forklift or pallet jack. Participatein physical inventory counts andmaintainingSupply Depot records. Maintainthe physical plant of the Supply Depot, including monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures, cleaning of building and grounds, andmaintainingbuilding security. Complete assigned training and other duties as assigned. Key Competencies Successful candidates for this position willdemonstratethe following competencies: Independently assess workload, perform mathematical calculations, place andmaintainaccurateandtimelyorders. Repeatedly lift, push, or pull heavy objects in hot, cold, or humid environments while bending and/or working above shoulders.
