Substitute Custodian NeededThe Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Substitute Custodians. This role is essential for providing a safe and clean learning environment for our students. This is a flexible, as-needed position, offering you the opportunity to choose assignments that fit your personal schedule while supporting our schools.Primary ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, washing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.Sanitize facilities such as bathrooms, windows, walls, water fountains, and sinks.Manage waste by emptying trash receptacles and picking up litter inside and around buildings.Support school operations through event setup/breakdown.The Ideal Candidate Will PossessAbility to work cooperatively with students, staff, and supervisors.Strong dependability and the ability to work independently to get things done.Capacity to stand/walk constantly and frequently lift or push/pull up to 25 lbs.Experience not required; paid training provided to all new hires.CVSD is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to ensuring that all of our students achieve our mission - which means we are also committed to developing a faculty and staff that represents the inclusive, welcoming environment we seek to develop for students and families.
