Technical Sales Specialist

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Technical Sales professional to assist in ourSales department. Job Description The position will perform a variety of functions that include, but are not limited to: Review customers' requirements and recommend specific product solutions. Quotation preparation and follow through from order inception to delivery. Assist in the development and organization of sales forecasts Oversee web page content and organize updates. Prepare press releases, advertisements and relevant articles for print and electronic sources Prepare, organize and distribute material as required Assist in all stages of the sales/support cycle: pipeline, forecast, prospect, closing and follow up. Prepare product comparison studies Attend industry and marketing events, conferences, shows and exhibitions as required. Provide support to customers or representatives as required. Provide on-going support and services to customers. Qualifications Desktop Publishing Minimum of one-year previous sales/marketing experience preferred but not required Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing and/or engineering preferred. Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent with a working knowledge of electronics. Knowledge of test and measurement techniques and testing equipment is preferred but not required Aptitude to learn technical products & applications, including Power Industry sectors Exhibits highly developed levels of self-initiation and motivation Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a great customer focused mentality Ability to work well with a team and the ability to work self-supervised Strong relationship building skills “Can do” attitude, coachable and demonstrated ability to win This is a full-time salaried position, which offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package.
