Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients, including antepartum and postpartum stages.
• Circumstensively monitor mothers and babies using electronic fetal monitoring.
• Administer medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as prescribed.
• Function as a baby nurse during delivery and manage newborn care post-delivery.
• Circulate during deliveries and assist in ORs as necessary.
• Adapt to high-risk, high-volume environments, with an average of 500-600 deliveries per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high acuity and high pace labor and delivery environment required.
• Possession of current supervisory references and required certifications at the time of submission.
• Capability to pass a clinical review with proof of current Nursys status.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Experience in circulating and providing specialized newborn care including NB care assessments.
• Flexibility to float to postpartum/antepartum units and sister facilities as needed.
