Job Title Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location Fort Walton Beach, Florida Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by physician orders
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Document procedures, patient data, and radiopharmaceutical usage accurately in the medical record system
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in Florida
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Prior travel assignment experience in a nuclear medicine or radiology setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume or acute care clinical environment
- Experience with a variety of nuclear medicine imaging modalities and protocols
