Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide respiratory care using GE R860 Adult and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
• Manage transport ventilators and non-invasive devices
• Work across Adult service lines and NICU/Peds service lines
• Collaborate with medical staff for critical care units and floors
• Ensure patient care and outcomes meet hospital standards

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with critical care environments
