Job Duties: Utilize minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat disease. Consultwith physicians, nurses, patients and patients’ families concerning treatment and care and transmissionrisks, prophylaxis and precautions. Refer cases to specialists as indicated, maintaining continuity of care.Provide medical direction to healthcare staff and assist in developing and implementing education,training and in-service programs for the healthcare staff. Various administrative duties and participate incommittees. Maintain patient records according to hospital policies and procedures. Remain a member ofthe active staff of hospitals. Provide call coverage.
