As a Radiologic Technologist - PACS, you'll play a critical role in both patient care and radiology operations while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences.If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of an innovative healthcare organization, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoAs a Radiologic Technologist - PACS, you will support providers and clinical teams by performing diagnostic imaging, coordinating radiology workflows, and ensuring accurate image management through our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).Clinical ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic x-ray examinations for patients of all ages under the direction of a provider.Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols.Analyze images for quality and submit studies for interpretation.Perform patient intake activities, including vital signs and patient history collection.Conduct point-of-care testing as needed, including flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, and pregnancy testing.Escalate urgent or critical findings to the provider team.PACS & Radiology OperationsManage daily PACS workflows and image archiving processes.Reconcile radiology reports within the electronic medical record (EMR).Ensure all imaging studies are completed accurately and submitted appropriately.Perform routine quality assurance, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance.Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.Train and educate radiologic technologists on PACS and x-ray procedures in both classroom and clinical settings.Patient & Administrative SupportRegister patients and verify insurance eligibility.Process co-pays and assist with scheduling.Coordinate referrals to specialists.Answer patient questions and provide outstanding customer service.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Assist with opening and closing center procedures.Monitor and replenish medical supplies and maintain organized exam rooms.QualificationsRequired EducationGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Required ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience.Required Certifications & LicensureAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.Current state Radiologic Technologist license (where applicable).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) at the time of hire.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with medical office systems and patient management software.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Why Join Inova-GoHealth?At Inova-GoHealth, we are guided by five core values:Collaboration: Working together to achieve the best outcomes for our patients and communities.Innovation: Continuously improving how we deliver care.Diversity & Inclusion: Creating an environment where every team member feels valued and respected.Integrity: Doing the right thing, every time.Accountability: Taking ownership and delivering results.What We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysGrowth and development opportunitiesSupportive team environmentThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your communitySet up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us! #J-18808-Ljbffr Inova | GoHealth Urgent Care
