Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Epic charting experience Experience with maternal fetal medicine Ability to cross-train to Mother/Baby and float to NICU as needed Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in obstetrics. Nights are required, with a total of 36 hours each week. The facility conducts an average of 2000 deliveries annually. Candidates must have experience in high-risk and low-risk obstetrical care. Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and triaging obstetrical patients. Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation and postpartum hemorrhage management is essential. RNs are expected to provide patient assessments and support during labor and delivery. Floating to the Mother/Baby unit and the NICU (feeder/growers) may be required. Candidates must be familiar with isolations precautions and facility protocols. Experience with certifications required for specialized procedures is necessary. The nursing staff collaborates with various interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
