BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Fort Myers, FL (33916). This role is ideal for a technician with strong maintenance expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.

Position Details

Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Myers, FL 33916
Pay: $22–$23/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

Responsibilities

Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
Perform advanced maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repairs (if certified)
- Electrical and plumbing diagnostics
- Appliance repair and replacement
- Carpentry, drywall, and general building upkeep
Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

Requirements

Maintenance certification required (EPA/HVAC or equivalent)
Strong apartment maintenance experience
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
