AI Machine Learning Lead

RiVidium is seeking an AI / Machine Learning Lead to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports IT Cybersecurity and Data Operations - Modernization & Innovation and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members families and related stakeholders. Implements PWS C.5.3.13 Innovation initiatives; develops AI/ML models integrates automation pipelines and ensures secure deployment in DoD environments. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI and machine learning initiatives that support modernization automation and advanced analytics objectives.
• Build or refine models workflows and supporting data processes in secure environments.
• Coordinate with data engineering and stakeholder teams to translate use cases into practical solutions.
• Help ensure AI/ML solutions are measurable supportable and responsibly deployed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15 yrs).
• Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role. For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award.
• Strong communication teamwork and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data pipelines dashboards visualization tools analytics or reporting automation as applicable to the role.
• Ability to translate operational data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data quality governance and performance metrics in enterprise environments.

Work Setting

This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria Virginia area with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria Virginia area is expected with on-site support as required by the customer.
