Memory Care Activity Assistant

If you're cheerful, patient, and passionate about seniors, this role is for you. We're looking for someone who follows the plan- but also understands that in memory care, not everything goes as planned. You'll need the heart to meet residents where they are, the creativity to adapt in the moment, and the enthusiasm to help them feel excited to participate. What You’ll Do Encourage and escort residents to daily activities Create a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment Lead or assist with games, music, crafts, exercise, and social programs Provide one-on-one visits for residents who prefer quieter interaction Adapt activities when needed while staying aligned with the daily plan Build trust with residents and families through kindness and consistency Support the team wherever needed What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for working with seniors Cheerful, friendly, and naturally encouraging personality Someone who can get residents interested—even when they're hesitant A team player who follows the plan but adapts when needed Dependable, compassionate, and positive attitude Benefits PTO Health, dental, and life insurance Short- and long-term disability Paid holidays Retirement assistance Employee appreciation programs And more Requirements Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience At least 1 year working with seniors (paid or volunteer) Dependable and team-oriented Must meet driving requirements for resident outings Join a team that believes in connection, laughter, and doing whatever it takes to create meaningful days for our residents.
