Behavioral Therapist (ABA Therapist) - Watertown

Merrimack Autism Consultants is currently hiring full‑time and part‑time behavior therapists to provide 1:1 in‑home ABA services. We are dedicated to providing quality ABA services to families affected by autism spectrum disorders and other developmental or behavioral disorders. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and previous experience working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. Sessions from Monday‑Friday are from 2pm‑8pm; weekends 8am‑8pm. Rate of pay is between $19‑$25 per hour and is based on level of education and years of experience. What will you do? Work 1:1 directly with clients with autism using individualized behavior analytic techniques created by a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst. Conduct therapy sessions in the client's home and sometimes in the community. Provide support and guidance to the parent or caregiver to implement behavior reduction and/or skills acquisition plans. Collect data daily to ensure the client's progress is monitored and program objectives are met according to the individualized plan. Communicate in a timely manner with both the client's family and supervisor. Complete 40 hours of RBT training and pass the test within 90 days of hire. What do we offer? Must be 18 years old or older. Registered Behavior Therapist or have at least 3 months of experience working with children with autism. Interest in working with children, adolescents, or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities. Experience as a teacher, paraprofessional, camp counselor, nanny, or respite provider is an asset. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Associate’s degree in human, social, or educational services, or a bachelor’s degree in psychology, behavior management, or related fields, or background in psychology or applied behavior analysis. Professional experience or volunteering with people with developmental disabilities. Ability to commit to 6 months with clients. Reliable transportation. Authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check. CPR certified (not required but preferred). Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred). Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus. Job type: part‑time, full‑time.
