Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA), located at our CUMC-Bergan Pulmonology Clinic, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery. Expectations Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit. Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
