Job Summary: The Investment Advisor works in a team-based setting working closely with licensed Bankers to look out for our 14,000 members.  The ideal candidate for this position is fully licensed and has previous experience promoting insurance and investment products.  Ohio CU Financial Services is a wholly owned CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization) of OC Federal Credit Union based in northeast Ohio with branch locations in Cuyahoga, Summit and Stark counties.

The ideal candidate for this position is fully licensed and has previous experience promoting insurance and investment products.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed company goals.

·         Motivated by finding solutions to member needs and proving WOW member experience.

·         Work closely with licensed branch Bankers providing coaching to improve product knowledge and sales technique.

·         Refer additional opportunities to the appropriate department.

·         Collaborate with Marketing to create promotional materials and schedule regular member financial seminars.

·         Analyze market trends to identify ways to assist the Member.

·         Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

·         Present a professional appearance as you are the face of the company.

·         All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• Previous success in building member relationships, uncovering member needs and recommending tailored solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years financial services sales.
• Active listening and superb member service skills.
• Positive coaching skills and enthusiastic disposition required.
• Ohio Life/Health license required.
• Series 65 or Series 7 & 66 licensed preferred or achieved within 30 days of employment
• Successful problem solver to resolve member’s inquiries.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: May lift up to 25 lbs.; Office work- must be able to use a PC and phone; hearing and sight are required to perform this job; may need to stand for long periods of time in front of a computer.  Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between branch locations and develop business in the community.
