Teach upper division management electives, with the content based on the candidate's qualifications and areas of expertise. Management electives can be in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: leadership, international business, strategy, entrepreneurship, small business management, organizational behavior, human resources management/talent management, innovation management, operations, and/or supply chain management. Teaching should include projects that stimulate independent critical thinking, promote effective written and oral communication skills, facilitate experiential learning, and develop problem solving skills. The standard teaching assignment is three courses per semester. Other duties include professional development, university service and departmental service, advising students, and participation in departmental and university governance. Qualifications: Ph.D. or D.B.A. (ABD considered) in management, organizational behavior, or international business. Will consider Ph.D. in other related business disciplines (e.g., operations, logistics, entrepreneurship, etc.). For those candidates whose doctoral degrees are in non-business disciplines, relevant work experience in the field of management can be considered.
